A sweet combination between Jesmond Ice Cream Co and Famous 415

A winning combination in our eyes, the Jesmond Ice Cream Co teamed up with Famous 4.15 to bring a couple of shows to the Gosforth Civic Theatre to raise money for St Oswald’s. We caught up with Lynn and Mark to find out more:

“We’ve been supporting St Oswald’s for many years now personally and through our ice cream business. We know what a tremendous difference you made to our friends family during her final weeks. From that my daughter raised money selling bracelets from our front door, and we’ve fundraised when we can.

“We thought it was a great opportunity to raise money at the performances at the Civic Theatre through our ice cream sales. The Famous 4.15 is an amazing Performing Arts School and it’s more like a family who attend every week. The young people in the show had the best time and it was lovely to see them working together so well, as well as enjoying their singing, dancing and acting.

“We want to say a special thanks to Doddington Dairy who donated 72 ice creams which helped us to maximise profits on the day, to all of the parents, friends and family members of the Famous 4.15 Gang who bought ice cream or donated, to The Gosforth Civic Theatre and to everyone at the amazing Famous 4.15.”

The team raised over £465 through ice cream sales and donations across the 3 shows and can’t wait to get going again. Thank you everyone who donated and performed, definitely a winning combination.
