Free Wills with McClure
Get our guide to making a Will during the Covid-19 pandemicIs making a Will or reviewing an existing one something that’s been on your to-do list for a long time, but you’ve just not got round to organising it? If so, you are not alone.
Did you know that in the UK, 64% of adults do not have a Will and out of those who do, almost a third are out of date?
Making your Will during social distancing
With social distancing measures in place, now might seem like a strange time to make your Will, but in fact, it’s a good time to slow down and take stock. Many people are cleaning out their cupboards and reorganising their garages – so why not do the same with your Will and make sure your affairs are in order at a time when so much else is uncertain?
Our Will writing partners at McClure solicitors can set the ball rolling with a telephone or video call consultation and even have your Will signed via video call, witnessed by their estate planning specialists.

All McClure ask in return is that you consider a donation to support St Oswald’s Hospice, although there is no obligation to do so. The Free Wills for Charity service applies whether you are making a simple or more complex Will. On average, a full process, standard Will with McClure Solicitors would cost £150 for a single Will or £240 for a pair.

Leaving a legacy
A wonderful way to support St Oswald’s Hospice and help ensure we are able to be there for families in years to come, is by remembering us in your Will. You can leave a gift in memory of someone or simply as your own legacy, allowing you to continue supporting your favourite charity after you have gone. Once you have ensured your family are looked after, even a 1% pledge would be hugely appreciated and make a real difference.
If this is something you would like to consider, your solicitor can give you more information about leaving a legacy to charity during your appointment.
We would appreciate it if you allow McClure to inform us should you decide to support us or inform us yourself so we can thank you.
