Professional visits

We welcome professional visitors to St Oswald’s on an ad-hoc basis, they spend a short period of time with us – from two days to two weeks – and shadow or work alongside our medics.

We also welcome health and social care colleagues to have a tour around our services and find out more about our work.

For more details, please contact us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

External roadshows

We are always looking for opportunities to get out and about in the local community and spread the word about St Oswald’s. We want to dispel the myths around hospice care and ensure everyone in the North East understands what we do and who we can help.

If you work in a health centre, government office, library or shopping centre and could put your place of work forward as a potential venue we’d love to hear from you!

We’d also love to attend information events and fairs across the region and have the chance to chat to fellow healthcare professionals, prospective patients and volunteers.
