Meet June

June has been a supporter St Oswald’s Hospice for over 35 years since we opened in 1986. After her Mother died of breast cancer in her early fifties June, alongside her Husband supported our families in her memory. In 2013 June’s Husband died and left a gift in his Will to continue his support to the Hospice.

“I am proud his gift will have made a difference to the wellbeing of St Oswald’s patients”

June continues to explain why she too has left a gift in her Will:

“Leaving a gift to St Oswald’s in my own Will was an easy decision. I believe that the North East needs hospice care to provide a safe haven for people at a time when they need it most. I want the special kind of care that is delivered by St Oswald’s to still be there for other people and their families in years to come.”

Leaving a gift in your Will is a special way to support the Hospice, 1 day in every week is funded by people remembering us alongside their own families. June said:

“I’d ask you to please consider joining me and naming St Oswald’s as a beneficiary in your own Will. Every legacy gift, small or large, will make a difference to someone the future.”
