Lowes Financial Management strengthens its partnership with St Oswald's Hospice

Lowes Financial Management are long-term supporters of St Oswald’s Hospice, having connected with the Hospice 15 years ago. The Jesmond-based Financial Planning firm has continued to strengthen its partnership throughout 2023 by getting involved in a variety of initiatives including our business networking events and our corporate Golf Day.
More recently, the firm has participated in our Shaun the Sheep on the Tyne art trail by sponsoring “Baa Baa Blue Sheep” as part of our 40-strong flock displayed around Newcastle upon Tyne for 10 weeks across the summer.
Reflecting on this partnership, the company said, “We respect and appreciate the work St Oswald’s carries out within local communities across the region. It truly makes a difference to families that require help and support.”
The partnership has provided opportunities for staff across the company to engage and get involved in raising much needed funds for St Oswald’s. A team of 8 staff members took part in the iconic Great North Run, joining our fabulous Team St Oswald’s for the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields.
Holly Dawson, Marketing Communications Co-ordinator said, “It was a scorcher of a day but WOW the atmosphere was just incredible! There is a phenomenal amount of support at every stage of the run and it made me feel so proud to be from the North East, and to be able to support such an amazing cause.”
Holly added, “It was so lovely to have some friendly faces, a massage and homemade goodies waiting for me at the finish line. Thank you St Oswald’s!”
