Harvey, our lovely mascot and miniature horse has jumped new heights raising funds for St Oswald’s Hospice. Owner Jen is one of our super supporters raising funds in memory of her dearest friend who needed our care. This year Jen organised an equestrian extravaganza with a one day event covering three disciplines of Dressage, Show jumping and a 2 mile Cross Country Walk.
Harvey did brilliantly in dressage, felt a little anxious during show jumping being around other horses and came in strong on the cross country only missing a handful of jumps that were a bit too high for him! Following the event Harvey held a meet and greet with attendees for lots of loving strokes and cuddles, whilst accepting donations to his collection bucket.
Together Harvey and Jen and their equestrian event raised £305! Thank you so much for your continued support and we hope you enjoyed a well-deserved rest.
