A big thank you goes to North East solicitors, Samuel Phillips Law, who have extended their support from our Free Wills campaign to donations for our charity shop in Sunderland.
Across June, the staff at Samuel Phillips Law pooled together to collect clothes, accessories, and more to donate to our charity shop on Sunderland High Street.
With one of their offices based around the corner from the shop, on Tuesday the 25th of June, Felicity and Peter popped by to donate bags and bags of goodies!
Shop Manager Charlie and her volunteers really appreciated the donations, which they will sell in the shop to raise money for our patients and their families.
The support doesn’t stop there!
Samuel Phillips Law are also partners in our Free Wills campaign.
The team will provide supporters of the Hospice with face-to-face appointments to make or update their Wills for free. This opportunity is available all year round, and you can find out more information here.
When asked why they have dedicated so much time to supporting St Oswald’s Hospice, Felicity Nelson, Head of the Wills, Probate & Trusts Team at Samuel Phillips Law said:
“Myself and my colleagues have visited St Oswald’s Hospice a couple of times now and are always deeply moved and touched by the inspiring work both the staff and volunteers carry out at the hospice.
They make such a huge difference to the lives of not only the patients who attend, but their family and loved ones too. We are passionate about contributing to the hard work the hospice do and the very least we could do was to continue to support the Free Will Campaign.
We are delighted to be increasing our support now with a donation drive and partnering with the Sunderland store to generate even more support for the hospice who can then help even more families at the most difficult of times.
