Dorothy's story

Let us introduce you to Dorothy Marshall. A resident of Gosforth Newcastle and neighbour to us at St Oswald’s Hospice. A local lady who was well aware of the Hospice and community having worked her professional life as a Teacher and Headmistress.

Thanks to Dorothy’s generosity and leaving a gift in her will she will continue to support the Children in our care, as she did throughout her life during her teaching career.

Her legacy gift of £4,500 will provide 2 whole years of activity outings and magical moments organised with our Children’s services. Creating special memories and moments to share for all our families.

Dorothy remembered us alongside other charitable causes aiming to improve the lives of others and we are grateful for her kindness, as will those families who will directly benefit.

Our warmest thanks to Dorothy and her family for sharing her life and legacy with us.
