An un-fore-gettable start to charity partnership for Sintons

Newcastle-based Law Firm, Sintons LLP, have announced St Oswald’s Hospice as their new Charity of the Year partner 2026-28.

David Pritchard, Head of Marketing and Business Development and Chair of Sintons’ CSR Committee, commented, “Choosing a new charity is always a significant moment for the firm. St Oswald’s Hospice is an institution that has touched the lives of so many families across the North East. Their dedication to dignity and care is unparalleled, and we are incredibly proud to be standing alongside them for the next two years.”

Sintons have set themselves a fundraising goal of £20,000 across the two years, and the CSR committee has already set to work on a calendar of fundraising events and activities.

To get into the swing of things, the firm’s charity golf day was recently held at Close House Golf Club with teams from across the North East taking part.

As part of the event, Jill Hackworth and Stacey Wilson, Fundraisers at St Oswald’s Hospice, delivered a short talk to attendees, highlighting the positive impact of corporate support and the difference it makes to all who need the Hospice.

The event was a huge success, raising more than £7000 to support local hospice care.

2026 marks the 40th anniversary of St Oswald’s Hospice, and the fact that we are still here today, providing care and support free of charge to our local community, is only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters.”
