It’s your Autumn/Winter issue of Snapshot!

It might be getting chilly outside, but let us warm your cockles with the latest news from St Oswald’s, Hospice, made possible thanks to your support.

It’s been a busy few months at the hospice, and lots has happened since your last newsletter came out! In this issue, you’ll hear a special tribute to a patient who made a real impression on our Day Services team, and how they will be remembering her, and many other special people, by taking part in Light up a Life this year.

There’s a roundup of some upgrades that have gone on in our Adult Inpatient Unit and Children and Young Adult’s Service and we introduce you to one of the team leading some research projects which aim to improve the care and quality of life of our patients and their families through ongoing innovation, service transformation and improvement.  We look back at the retails team’s  ‘Sustainable September’ campaign and we look forward to the opening of a brand new shop.
