Children’s Service

We provide specialist palliative care to babies and children who are living with progressive, life-limiting conditions.

This care is provided by our expert team via Residential Short Breaks at our Children and Young Adults Service, based at St Oswald’s Hospice in Gosforth, and through our Outreach Service.

Children who attend Residential Short Breaks benefit from a modern, bright and welcoming space in which to be supported and thrive.

They will receive 24/7 expert medical care during their stay and be offered a wide range of fun, safe and life-enhancing activities based on ability and need.
