Referrals to adult services

We accept referrals from General Practitioners, Consultants or other healthcare professionals in consultation with a patient’s Doctor. Patients from Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland and Gateshead can be referred to us.

Working in conjunction with Marie Curie Cancer Care, we run Hospadvice, an out of hours telephone advice service available for health and social care professionals.

Dementia Care

St Oswald’s Hospice acknowledges that Dementia is a life limiting condition and that a person with dementia has palliative care needs. We recognise the challenges faced by families living with dementia and our aim is to support them to live well and at the end of life, to die well.
