James is Director of Projects at The Lanchester Group and sits on Our Board of Trustees. He lends his skills in IT and business to the Hospice, having spent over 25 years working in IT in the region.

What does Hospice care mean to you?
Providing quality time and experiences for patients and their families during difficult times.
What is your favourite St Oswald’s Hospice memory?
The first time I walked into the Hospice, I experienced a friendly and warm welcome from every person I met.
What’s involved in your role as a Trustee?
As a Trustee, we provide advice, guidance and support to the Hospice Management Team through a wide number of skills. We also ensure that St Oswald’s Hospice continues to follow best practice in the medical, legal and ethical ways of working.
