Calling all Retail Superstars!
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you passionate about making a difference? Do you love variety and working with a team?
Then you might be the perfect fit for our Retail Support Manager position!
We’re looking for enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join our team and provide essential support across our network of charity shops. You’ll be a key player in ensuring our shops run smoothly, providing cover for our amazing shop managers and helping out at retail fundraising events.
This is not a typical 9-to-5 role! You’ll be a mobile superstar, travelling between our shops in the North East and supporting our teams wherever they need you. We need someone who loves a challenge, enjoys working independently, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help out.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Providing on-the-ground support to our shop managers and teams, covering shifts when needed.
- Helping with stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
- Supporting our retail fundraising events, from setup to packing up.
- Working with our retail teams to ensure consistent high standards across all our shops.
- Maintaining a positive and supportive work environment in line with St Oswald’s values.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a full UK driving licence with access to a car for work purposes
- Is a confident and engaging communicator with excellent customer service skills.
- Is adaptable and able to work independently.
- Has a passion for our charity’s mission.
- Is comfortable traveling and working across multiple locations.
This role is physical, demanding and very rewarding as our shop teams are the link between the Hospice and our supporters and local community.
