It’s your Spring/Summer 2025 issue of Snapshot!

We are delighted to share the Spring/Summer issue of Snapshot, your St Oswald’s Hospice newsletter.

It’s been a very busy few months and as you will read, there are lots of exciting projects and developments underway at the hospice, which will all benefit our patients, families and local community. Many of these have only been possible thanks to your support, so we are looking forward to telling you a little more about them.

We’ll take you into our Focus on Living Centre and share stories and updates from the staff and patients there, and introduce a new project working with Northumbria Primary Care Trust to support bereaved people.

You’ll see how our Young Adults Accommodation building has progressed and learn about our new clinical internship partnerships with Sheffield Hallam University.

And of course, there’s the usual news from our busy retail team, and details of how you can get involved in our events and campaigns – including our brand new Summer 2026 art trail featuring Peter Rabbit!

Thanks to our friends at Vertu, The Big Car Raffle is back for 2025! Last year, you helped to raise over £40,000 for the hospice by playing our raffle and we are delighted to once again give you the chance to win a new set of wheels.
