Introducing the Goodwill Sour: A clever collaboration with Chaophraya, Newcastle in support of St Oswald’s Hospice.

In a brand new collaboration, the team at Chaophraya Newcastle have recently created an exclusive cocktail, especially for St Oswald’s Hospice. Packing a flavoursome punch, this teal-coloured tipple is served chilled with white sour foam, and topped with St Oswald’s logo.

For every Goodwill Sour purchased at the Newcastle restaurant, £2 will go directly to the Hospice, leaving anything but a sour taste in the mouths of customers.

Speaking about how collaboration came about, Business Development Manager, Scott McAllister said, “I’ve been curious about the work of St Oswald’s Hospice so I booked onto one of their Business Networking events in Newcastle to find out more. I had a chat with Sophie on the team and arranged to come in for a visit.”

As a company, Thai Leisure Group are proud to L.O.V.E, that is, to Live Our Values Every day and it’s because of this that Business Development Manager Scott felt compelled to support St Oswald’s Hospice.

Scott explained, “The values here at Chaophraya are rooted in providing excellent service, teamwork, and togetherness, caring from the heart and, of course, having fun. When I visited the Hospice, I could see the alignment between the core values of both organisations; the opportunity to collaborate and support such an amazing cause was a must do for us.”

In addition to creating the cocktail...

Chaophraya has hosted one of the St Oswald’s Business Networking events and there are plans in the pipeline to develop further opportunities to work together.

Scott added, “Seeing what goes on behind the scenes, the commitment to improving the care and quality of life for each patient is truly mind blowing. To be able to collaborate and offer the Goodwill Sours cocktail to our customers is exciting for us and we’re delighted to see many people enjoying the drink helping to support the Hospice when visiting our venue and dining with us.”

Cheers to Scott and Chaophraya for their continued support, which will help St Oswald’s Hospice to continue to provide care and comfort for all who need us.
