We know the word ‘hospice’ can feel daunting and scary to some, and most people still know us for our outstanding end-of-life care – which is really great and reassuring. But we want you to know that we do so much more too.

Michael, who is supported by the Bereavement team on a one-one basis and in Men's group, following the death of his partner of 26 years.

Alison, who is supported by the Focus on Living Centre Team. Alison gets care and support from a range of group and one-to-one therapies on her regular visits to the centre.

Terri, Keira's Mam - who are both supported by the Children and Young Adults Service. Kiera comes for short breaks where she gets 24/7 care and lots of fun! See Keira surf for the first time thanks to two wet suits, an adapted surf board and the supportive team.

Helen, who is supported by the Focus on Living Centre Team. She enjoys weekly Music Therapy sessions, plus practical, emotional and spiritual support from our Social Worker and Chaplain.

Malcolm, who is supported by the Lymphoedema Team and had life-changing treatment, reducing the pain and swelling caused by his chronic Lymphoedema. Find out about his journey from pain to immobility to completing ten 10k races!

Vikki, who was supported by the Family Support Service teams. Vikki's husband, Bob, was cared for on the Adult Inpatient Unit. With an 8-week-old baby and two children under 5, Vikki needed practical and emotional support and found this through our Social Workers and Bereavement team.
