About Us
At St Oswald’s Hospice, we provide outstanding specialist palliative care and end of life care, supporting patients and families with compassion, dignity and respect. We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our Day Services team in a key support role.
Job Summary
This varied role combines traditional Personal Assistant responsibilities to the Senior Medical Team, including diary management, meeting coordination and minute taking, with a full range of medical secretarial duties including the management of clinical correspondence, referral administration, patient pathway coordination and the maintenance of accurate records. As a central point of contact for clinical and administrative matters, you will help ensure the smooth running of Adult Clinical Services, support effective service delivery and contribute to the provision of excellent patient care.
About You
You will:
- Have experience in a PA, senior administrator, secretarial or medical administration role.
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be confident managing competing priorities and working independently.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and administration systems.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion and a commitment to high-quality service.
- Previous healthcare, hospice or medical administration experience would be advantageous.
