Developing St Oswald’s Hospice Strategy 2023 - 2026

St Oswald’s Hospice has been supporting patients and their families and carers for over 35 years and in that time has developed a strong local and national reputation for excellent care.

Our Board of Trustees is now seeking to develop a new strategy which will cover a period of three years (2023 - 2026), that will help us deliver the very best care for our patients and families.

We would really appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out our survey below by Sunday 30th April 2023 to help us develop our new strategy.

Developing St Oswald’s Hospice Strategy 2023 – 2026

St Oswald’s Hospice has been supporting babies, children, young people, adults and their families and carers for over 35 years and in that time has developed a strong local and national reputation for excellent care.

Our Board of Trustees is now seeking to develop a new strategy which will cover a period of three years (2023 – 2026), that will help us deliver the very best care for our patients and families while also managing our financial position and ensure a seamless transition from the current strategy Vision 2025 which was launched in 2015.

Claire Henry Associates

Who is leading this work?

Claire Henry and the team from Claire Henry Associates is leading this work for St Oswald’s Hospice. Claire is a very experienced palliative care and end of life care practitioner and has led several national projects. We are delighted Claire and her team are working with us.

Meet Claire and the team

Our current services are delivered by St Oswald’s Hospice staff and volunteers in partnership with a whole range of people across the North East.

We deliver care and support to people in their own homes (including care homes), with community services, as well as in our facilities in Gosforth.

We want to capture feedback on palliative and end of life care from as many people as possible, so that the strategy reflects the views of the whole community. You may be a patient now or in the past, be a carer for a patient, child or young adult who uses our services, a member of staff, a volunteer, a supporter, donor or customer, or are simply interested in St Oswald’s Hospice and what we do. We would welcome your views and thoughts on how we might grow our income so that we can provide more services for our community.

We have a short set of questions below that we would like you to answer, and we also welcome any general comments and observations.

Please complete our survey by Sunday 30th April 2023.
