St Oswald's is partnering up with top high street retailer New Look this summer to encourage shoppers to donate their unwanted clothing to three of our regional shops in exchange for a 20% New Look discount voucher.
St Oswald’s Wallsend, North Shields and Morpeth stores will be working with the British fashion retailer on this new pilot scheme, which will reward customers who donate a bag of donations to these St Oswald’s shops between the 21st July – 14th September. The scheme is part of a national collaboration between New Look and Hospice UK and selected charity Hospice retailers from across the UK have been selected to take part.
The pilot scheme hopes to boost the number of donations to nearby hospice shops during the summer period.
Anita Ball, Director of Income and Marketing at St Oswald’s, said:
We are delighted to be teaming up with New Look and working closely with them on what promises to be an exciting and rewarding scheme for our loyal and generous supporters. We are excited to see how successful this trial scheme will be and how many extra donations we get through our doors. Donations are critically important to us; without adequate donations we wouldn’t have enough items to sell in our shops helping us to raise the £7.5 million we need each year in order to continue to provide high quality care to North East families.
