Get muddy for St Oswald's Hospice

Ashley Elliott from Newcastle completed the Clarty Bairns family obstacle course in 2018 for St Oswald’s Hospice with her son Riley. Clarty Bairns, organised by Challenge Northumberland is a mini muddy obstacle course for children – think tough mudder but more fun and aimed at kids. It’s a great way to have fun with the whole family making memories to last a lifetime.

Riley, aged 10 said:

I had a really good time at Clarty Bairns. The course is a lot of fun – I loved getting muddy and watching my mam get muddy too.

Ashley added:

This is one of my favourite family events around. We’ve done it for two years now and we both love it. I’ll be bringing my son’s whole football team next time! I’d say it’s definitely one for your bucket list.

This month we’re giving you the opportunity to sign up for a £10 deposit for up to a family of four! Usually £8 per person, you can sign an extra three people up for only £2 extra, with the remainder of the registration fee being paid by the end of February.

If you fancy getting active with all the family, sign up to complete Clarty Bairns today! If getting muddy isn’t your thing, check out our other challenges on our 31 Days of adventure here.
