After a successful pilot scheme earlier this year we've once again teamed up with top high street retailer New Look to encourage our supporters to donate their unwanted clothing to four of our regional shops in exchange for a 20% New Look discount voucher.
We'll be working with the British fashion retailer on this discount scheme, which will reward customers donating a bag of items to our North Shields, Morpeth, Wallsend and Cramlington St Oswald’s shops. The scheme is part of a national collaboration between New Look and Hospice UK and selected charity Hospice retailers from across the UK are taking part.
The pilot scheme, which was trialed over the summer, helped to boost the amount of donations that charities taking part received and the scheme has now been extended until at least November 2020.
Anita Ball, Director of Income and Marketing at St Oswald’s, said:
We are delighted to once again be teaming up with New Look and working closely with them on what promises to be an exciting and rewarding scheme for our loyal and generous supporters. Having seen some impressive results throughout the pilot scheme, we’re delighted the offer has been rolled out for another 12 months. Donations are critically important to us; without adequate donations we wouldn’t have enough items to sell in our shops helping us to raise the £7.5 million we need each year in order to continue to provide high quality care to North East families.
