The countdown to Christmas is on and with only three weeks to go, it will be here before we know it!
But don’t stress over stocking fillers and Secret Santa surprises, because with help from our upcycling boutique, Re-styled by St Oswald’s Hospice, you can get crafty with your present-buying this Christmas.
Customers at our unique store can now breathe easy, and opt to buy upcycling workshop vouchers to be used towards any of the creative classes planned at Re-styled in the New Year.
And with the freedom to choose any amount to spend, they make for an ideal gift for every budget.
Whether you’re buying for a crafting connoisseur or someone just starting out, there’s a workshop for all tastes and abilities; from decoupage, bunting and upholstery to rag wreath making, embellishment and more! Plus, those attending the painting workshops will receive tips and advice as seen on TV, following Re-styled’s regular appearances on hobby channel, HOCHANDA.
Sophie Adamson, manager at Re-styled by St Oswald’s Hospice said:
“Instead of giving the usual slippers and socks as gifts this year, we’re offering customers fun and creative ideas, by giving the gift of a unique experience and treating their loved ones to a crafty Christmas.
“Our workshops are a great place to learn something new in a fun, relaxed environment. People can come and make something to be proud of, as well as some new friends along the way while becoming part of our community #northeastupcyclers.”
Tucked away downstairs in Eldon Garden Shopping Centre, Re-styled is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre crowds and enjoy the range of one-off treasures ready to be hunted.
For those who prefer to go at their own pace and get their hands stuck into projects at home, Re-styled also has a range of paint hampers available at just £37.
Packed full of everything needed to have a go at customizing at home, each hamper includes:
- 2 x pots of Sarah Jayne Signature Chalk Paint for that shabby chic effect
- A professional paintbrush to perfect your technique
- Your very own Re-styled apron to protect your clothes (while looking like a seasoned upcycler!)
- And a wooden candle holder, ready to be Re-styled
As well as giving friends and family a present to remember, all purchases from the specialist shop contribute towards the £7.5 million St Oswald’s needs to raise each year to deliver specialist care to thousands of North East families, meaning your gift goes even further.
Open Monday – Saturday, 9am – 4.30pm at Unit 19 Eldon Garden Shopping Centre (next the escalators on the ground floor and car park entrance), in Newcastle, Re-styled also sells a selection of locally-produced, quirky handmade gifts and stylish upcycled furniture that can’t be found anywhere else.
