St Oswald’s Hospice is looking for a talented and enthusiastic in-house Graphic Designer to join their hard working Communications and Marketing Team.

The role will suit both experienced designers and graduate/trainee designers who are looking for their next step. The role is a brilliant opportunity to gain experience working in the third sector for a leading and ambitious North East based charity, with a lot of autonomy to make a difference to people’s lives.

The post holder should have a passion and flair for high quality, creative design and be able to produce work across a diverse range of exciting projects, including those with income generation targets.

A minimum of three years’ experience, either paid or voluntary, creating visual designs to meet clients’ aims and objectives is essential.

The right candidate will have strong IT skills across Microsoft and Adobe packages, specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be flexible and a self-starter as well as have the ability to manage their own workload, often to tight deadlines.
