Beat the Great North Run ballot and book your place in team St Oswald’s today for just £20!

Rather than chancing your luck in the general ballot, you can grab one of our VERY LIMITED charity places now for just £20, saving a massive £38 off the full price on Great Run’s website. The Great North Run takes place on 13th September 2020 and is the 40th anniversary year of this iconic half marathon, so it's the perfect reason to get involved. Whether you are a first timer or a GNR veteran, we’d love to welcome you #TeamStOswalds.

As a member of Team St Oswald’s, you’ll receive our official running vest, a fundraising pack and the support of our team to help you reach your fundraising target. And post-race, we’d love you to join us in the charity village, where our tent is always packed full of the friendliest volunteers, tastiest treats and the best sports massages. We’ll be on hand to give you the hero’s welcome you deserve after your 13.1 miles and your friends and family are welcome to join the party too.

Our ‘£20 for 2020’ places are strictly limited so sign up now. By beating the ballot, your place will be confirmed so you can get started straight away with your training, plus you will be making a great saving at a time of year when every penny counts!

Click the button below to secure your £20 place now. Please ensure you read our terms and conditions in the 'Your fundraising commitment' section during the checkout process regarding minimum sponsorship and withdrawing from the event before you pay for your place.

We'll help you every step of the way with your fundraising

By purchasing a place for the Great North Run 2020 with St Oswald's you are committing to raise a minimum of £300 towards the work of the Hospice... but don't worry, that's equivalent to just £5.77 per week! You'll receive a running vest, fundraising pack and our fundraising team will help you every step of the way.

We set all of our runners a minimum fundraising commitment of £300 each, and all the money you’ll raise will directly support the work we do with local people and their families at a difficult time. Your sponsorship and donations could provide fun and engaging trips out for the children who come to us for short breaks, vital medical equipment in our Inpatient Unit or fund bereavement support sessions for someone after the death of a loved one.

We rely on events like the Great North Run and amazing people like you to help us continue to be there for the families that need us. THANK YOU!
