What is it?
Calling all superheroes! Wish you could fly? How about taking on a zipwire from the historic Tyne Bridge? Soar for nearly 300m across the River Tyne, if you are brave enough!
This event is one for the adrenaline junkies and takes place in April and October. What better way to tick another activity off your bucket list whilst also raising money to help us provide services and care to local people who need it.

Who can take part?
What is involved?
The zipwire involves abseiling diagonally 35 metres above the River Tyne for a length of 295 metres. The opportunity is provided by Zip Slides UK, who have over eight years of experience of organising safe and successful zips, particularly from the Tyne Bridge.
Due to safety restrictions enforced by Newcastle City Council, the minimum age of entry requirement is 16.
Registration fee: £43
Minimum sponsorship: £100
How your money helps
£10 could pay for support hosiery for a patient with lympohedema
£60 could pay for a month’s supply of toilet roll for St Oswald’s
£100 could pay for six one to one support sessions for a bereaved adult or child.Book your place
