What is it?
Hadrian's Wall Trek is a fantastic opportunity to trek one of the UK's most iconic routes and explore the history of the North East. Cutting through parts of Northumberland National Park, trekkers can be confident that this trek will be a perfect combination of heritage, architecture and picturesque landscape offering challengers the opportunity to see some stunning views of our region.
This trek is steeped in history with the Roman Emperor Hadrian ordered the building of this wall back in AD122, stretching as far East as Wallsend and as far West as Bowness-on-Solway and offers a unique perspective of our national heritage, perfect for any history loving participants. During the course of the 26 mile walk, trekkers can expect to stumble across a number of Roman towers and forts, Walltown Crags and the unmissable Sycamore Gap.
