Join us for an Elmer Sponsor Briefing

Take some time out to attend a working session packed full of ideas and inspiration looking ahead to the biggest art trail to ever hit the region. We’ll help you to think about how your plans for 2019 can beautifully align with Elmer with a mix of presentations and practical sessions designed to get the creative juices flowing.

We'll also be giving you a sneak peek of two of our Elmer sculptures, painted live by BBC Radio Newcastle Breakfast show presenter Alfie Joey and local artist, Emily Ward!

The event will have a marketing focus, so as well as your businesses’ ‘Elmer Lead’ we suggest you also bring along your marketing colleagues to get the most from the afternoon.

Still haven't committed to Sponsoring a Sculpture?

There are still a range of sponsorship opportunities available, so if we haven’t quite convinced you yet, why not come along and hear from some of our sponsors and plans for the trail?

By making a commitment, you’ll be able to place your elephant footprint on our trail by reserving a location on our trail map. We’ve some fantastic locations remaining including city centre, parks and the coast - but be quick, as they're going fast!

  • What's new to the trail?

You’ll discover new ways to maximise your involvement in Elmer’s Great North Parade and how we’ll support you to help achieve your marketing objectives.

  • App and website development

Digital agency,  Mediaworks, will talk you through exciting plans for the official app, including new features for the Elmer trail. You’ll hear how your own sponsors page will appear and three top tips to make it work for you.

  • Activate your sponsorship

Julie from Wild in Art will share examples of how sponsors from trails across the country have made the trail their own through creative activation and marketing.

  • The launch of ‘themed weeks’

St Oswald’s Head of Communications and Marketing, Stephanie Whitehead will present plans for themed weeks throughout the trail, a really powerful tool for your marketing strategy.

  • Practical working session

This will explore the themed weeks and their potential for marketing and promotional opportunities in more detail.
