By playing our lottery for only £2 per week, you will be helping us care for thousands of local people and their families each year, whilst giving yourself the chance to win weekly cash prizes.

How can my organisation get involved?

Get involved with the Big Car Raffle and our Lottery which are both great for staff engagement and participation. They can also run alongside and complement other event and do not require much time/effort to take part, which is a bonus!

What is the Big Car Raffle?

For just £1 per ticket, you could drive away with our star prize – a 20 plate Hyundai i10 Play Edition.You’ll also have the chance of scooping one of the amazing runners up prizes too – a laptop computer, and an overnight stay for two with evening meal at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead.

We can bring tickets to you to buy or sell to colleagues, family and friends on our behalf. We can also arrange to have a Big Car Raffle stand at your organisation – if you have the space, we can even bring the car along to attract attention! You can win by purchasing a ticket (or a book of 20 tickets!) and we will enter you in the draw to win one of the fantastic prizes.

When does the draw take place? The draw will take place on the last Saturday in November.

You can win by signing up to our lottery and your number(s) will be entered into a weekly draw. You can win one of 19 prizes from £10 up to £1000, along with a rollover jackpot of up to £10,000!

What is the St Oswald's Lottery?

Our Lottery has been running since 1996 and currently has over 13,700 active players from the local community. Contributing over £1 million per year to the Hospice, our lottery players help to provide services and care to local people who need our support.

Care that money can’t buy

At St Oswald’s we make no charge for our specialist services, meaning care is available to those who need it. We rely on the generosity of people and businesses to support our campaigns like the Annual Raffle and Lottery, so we can be there for families like the Andersons.
Ian Anderson’s daughter, Eve 15, has been coming to the Hospice since 2012. She has an inoperable brain tumour after suffering a cerebral bleed in 2011. As a single parent caring for Eve, plus a younger daughter to care and provide for, St Oswald’s has been a lifeline to Ian and his family.
