Patient Education Programme
We run a five week patient education programme throughout the year which is designed to equip you with practical advice, hints and tips to help self-manage your condition.
The programme includes sessions on skincare, exercise, compression garments and simple lymphatic drainage (massage).

Lymphoedema Care Advice Line:
We have a dedicated advice line available for our lymphoedema patients. If you have any queries and concerns, please ring 0191 246 9050 and leave a message including your contact details. A member of our care team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Northern Lymphoedema Support Group
The Northern Lymphoedema Support Network are a friendly group of people who all suffer from or are involved with Lymphoedema. The group meets three times each year at St Oswald’s, to exchange support and information, listen to speakers and ask questions to members of the Hospice’s Lymphoedema Team.
