Snowholing expedition in Cairngorms

A means of survival, for mountaineers, for many years, snowholing is a charity challenge you’ll never forget. You’ll climb two 4000ft peaks in the Northern Cairngorms - Ben Maccdui 1309m/4296ft and Cairngrom 1245m/4084ft - to spend a night in a snow hole on the Cairngorm plateau. Dig your own snowhole, then snuggle down to stargaze and take in the beautiful surroundings, and in the morning, enjoy the sunrise over the Cairngorms with your morning cuppa. You will receive full training and the expedition is led by qualified and experienced instructors. For Silver challenges, we ask that you raise a minimum sponsorship of £500 towards our work with North East families. We can help you every step of the way, just make sure you have filled in our registration form so we can contact you about your fantastic challenge.
