Visitors to our Christmas Market are in for plenty of seasonal surprises and festive fun this year, with a snowy theme inspired by our recent Great North Snowdogs art trail.
Our popular annual market is taking place in the grounds of the Hospice between 11am and 3pm on Saturday 26th November. This year’s theme is ‘The Snowman and the Snowdog’, and fancy dress is encouraged!
Stalls will include handmade arts and crafts, children’s toys, Christmas gifts for the whole family and local food and drink. There will be a Santa’s Grotto with a gift for each child, carol singers to entertain the crowds and mulled wine to keep the thirst at bay. The Double Decker Den will keep the little ones entertained and Whitehouse Farm, Morpeth will introduce visitors to a selection of cute and cuddly creatures.
The event will be officially opened by a very special guest, who will cut the ribbon and welcome guests to the event.
Tickets will be available to purchase at the Christmas Market for our Annual Raffle, with the top prize of a Vauxhall Corsa car, donated by Bristol Street Motors. The winners will be drawn at the Great North Snowdogs Auction on Tuesday 6th December at Sage Gateshead and will be notified directly.
Entry to the market is £2 for adults, £1 for over 12’s and children under 12 go free.
