Share a Card
You can support St Oswald's at Christmas by ordering a Share a Card for your friends, colleagues or group.
You will receive a large Christmas card which allows you to share your season’s greetings your friends, families, club mates, colleagues and school friends, while showing your support for the Hospice.
Share a Card is really simple. Instead of buying, writing out, and sending lots of individual cards to friends and colleagues, supporters display ‘Share a Card’ in a prominent place, and write their festive messages inside the large card instead. The group then gives a donation to St Oswald’s, which helps us to continue providing care for local adults and children with life limiting conditions. It’s a great alternative to the traditional way of sending Christmas cards.
This year’s Share a Card was designed by Hannah Jones, age 4, Emma Cross age 5 and Donna Boyd, 20 who use St Oswald’s Children and Young Adult’s Service for short breaks and respite. The girls worked with our staff to create a special design, inspired by the Hospice’s recent Great North Snowdogs trail across the region. Hannah, Emma and Donna used finger and thumb prints to create the Snowdogs ears and fairy light decorations.
By taking part in Share a Card, supporters can help children like Hannah, Emma and Donna, who rely on St Oswald’s services not only at Christmas, but all year round.
