This week will link to the five ways to wellbeing: Connect, Be active, Give, Keep learning, Take notice and highlight how we can all look after ourselves and others in our local communities.
St Oswald’s could not continue without the support of our volunteers, but there are also plenty of benefits for them too. We’ll focus on how volunteering can boost mental health through learning new skills, building confidence and self-esteem, making friends and new networks.
What else is going on? This week leads up to World Mental Health Day on 10th October. Take some time out to consider the five ways to wellbeing - Connect, Be active, Give, Keep learning, Take notice - and how you could improve these in your day to day life.
