Led by Doctor Ellie Bond the Children's unit is covered 24/7 by a range of medical staff including consultants in palliative medicine.

The children remain under the care of their community paediatrician and/or hospital paediatric with whom we liaise.

A paediatric consultant also holds one session a week at the Children's Unit.

We are not a hospital and should a child become acutely unwell while staying with us the child will be transferred to the local paediatric unit.
