There are four part-time Physiotherapists and a Physiotherapy Assistant at St Oswald’s. Physiotherapy covers a wide range of services including:

• Provision of exercise programmes to improve mobility
• Provision of appropriate walking aids
• Participation in rehabilitation planning and assessment
• Advice on moving and handling.

Our Physiotherapists are also trained in acupuncture, which can be used to relieve certain types of pain.
