Occupational Therapists
There are four Occupational Therapists and an Occupational Therapy Assistant available to offer practical advice to patients who may be experiencing difficulties coping with everyday activities, e.g. bathing, getting dressed or pursuing a particular hobby or interest.
Although based at St Oswald’s, the Occupational Therapist carries out home visits if necessary, to give advice on adaptations that may be necessary to allow patients to return home. Advice regarding specialist equipment and moving and handling is also available.
