Our Day Treatment Unit enables patients to have treatments such as blood transfusions and infusions, on a day care basis.

The Unit is run by experienced nurses, who are specialists in palliative care and lymphoedema management . Lymphoedema is the severe swelling of the limbs, principally caused by certain cancers and their treatment.

Approximately 30 patients each week benefit from our Day Treatment Service, which is staffed from Monday to Friday, to meet demand.
