Day Hospice
Day Hospice is a nurse managed unit, offering respite and support during the day.
Patients can relax and enjoy spending time with others; learn new skills; undertake arts and crafts and take part in our relaxation or exercise classes.
Meanwhile, members of our specialist nursing team spend time informally monitoring the patient’s condition and will report any changes or difficulties back to their referrer.
During each visit, the patient can also benefit from the services of our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Complementary Therapists, Social Workers and Chaplaincy.
Day Hospice facilities are available from Tuesday to Friday, between 10 am and 3pm. All meals and refreshments are provided free of charge and transport can be provided.
