quality time for everyone

Chaplaincy

The Chaplain and Chaplain’s Assistant are available to everyone, those with religious beliefs and those of no particular faith, to help meet religious and spiritual needs.

As well as holding regular religious services in St Oswald’s, the chaplain spends time talking with patients, their families, carers and friends offering support during difficult times.

Sometimes special services can be arranged including baptisms, confirmations and even weddings!

A patient’s own clergy or religious leaders are welcome to visit at any time.
