quality time for everyone

Carers Complementary Therapy

Benefits from complementary therapy include: a feeling of well being, relaxation and lowered levels of anxiety. It also gives a Carer some dedicated time for themselves - where they can take time out to address their own needs - rather than solely focusing on the needs of their loved one.

As both a patient and their Carer can benefit from complementary therapy, they would be able to share the experience and, with tuition, a Carer could learn how to carry simple hand or foot massage to their loved one – using touch as an effective, non-verbal form of communication.
