Referral Procedure

Adults from Northumberland, North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead and Durham can benefit from our specialist care.

Referrals can be made by telephone, fax or post. Telephone referrals will normally be received by the Medical Secretaries. If you wish to make a telephone referral please call us on 0191 285 0063.

If the referrer wishes to discuss the patient further, a Hospice doctor will return the call as soon as possible.

Patients can be referred to us by their Hospital Consultant, GP or Specialist Palliative Care Team.
